Summary: Main Menu reorganization, Major Answer Bot Enhancements, New Conditional Outreach Messages, smaller enhancements and bug-fixes

  1. Chat Menu reorganization: The application's top bar main menu has been moved to the left-hand side. The old Admin side-bar options will now be available as sub-menu options under Admin

  2. Answer Bot Enhancements: The Answer Bot admin portal has been refactored and enhanced to support more robust features for your knowledge base. See documentation here. Some highlights include the following:

    • The old left-hand category panel has been replaced with an expandable/collapsible outline/tree view of your Categories, the Articles underneath them, and (new) Child Articles underneath parent articles
    • The Article Editor is now incorporated into the main view for ease of creation/modification of articles while your Answer Bot outline is in view
    • A new feature toggle that allows users to edit content while in Widget width view
    • Insert Tables in the content: a new robust Table support tool is now available
    • Child Articles, which can reside underneath 'parent' Articles, are now supported (i.e., Category > 'Parent' Article > 'Child' Article)
  3. Conditional Outreach Messages: the Widget Setup > Outreach Message has been enhanced to allow for custom outreach messages based on page URL rules. For e.g., you can define a custom 'Welcome to Appointment Scheduling' message if a URL/page address on your site contains the word 'scheduling'.   4. Analytics: Calendar limits are no longer limited to the last 90 days; users can now go as far back as April 1st, 2021 (i.e., this is the time frame when MedChat shifted to the current Analytics platform). See Analytics documentation here.

  5. Widget updates:

    • Added specialized 'title' tagging for Widget iframes as requested by customers
    • Fixed an issue where multiple text lines typed on the Widget will push down the bottom bar
  6. Custom Report: address an issue where a comment on the last line of a query can alter the format of results on the page

  7. Data Retention/Purge: Additional updates applied to support data retention and deletion policies

  8. Chatbot enhancement: Support for future Decision Branch block ability for an "Includes One or Many" operator, which can be used for comparing whether one list has one or more appearing in another list
