Webhooks

Clients may need to tie into key events generated by the MedChat system. Webhooks allow organizations to register their external services to receive such event notifications. Clients may configure their webhooks to subscribe to any number of event categories, receiving only the events which are useful to their services.

Note

Events that are broadcast to webhook subscribers will never contain ePHI. The event includes only enough information for the receiving system to call back into MedChat APIs after successfully authenticating with service credentials.
